And where did you come up with his old friend Axel. Now that's a friend.

You will probably get some heat for not dumping the bitch because she "cheated in the her heart" or "had an emotional affair' by not shutting lover boy down immediately but I thought it worked well, especially since John imposed a penance.

She didn't actually have sex but she thought about it, frankly I'm not surprised considering the redneck arsehole she's married to. Perhaps there should be an epilogue: the cops get off their lazy fat arses and arrest the two inbreds, or lover boy surprises Johnie one dark night and embeds an iron bar in his head, or my favourite, she gives him a blowjob but just as he's about to cum she bites his dick off, then while he roles in agony she beats him to death with his favourite golf club. She knows she'll get away with it because the cops in that town are just to lazy to worry about another missing piece of scum.

Man of action. None of that "6 months of gathering pictures and recordings of her fucking 30 guys" bullshit.

Stupid story. 1st off: I'm a strong believer in giving people enough rope to hang themselves. Why do I believe this? Because how else will you know your mate can remain faithful on their own accord? What kind of relationship is that, that involves one mate trying to prevent their spouse from breaking their vows? Who has time to be policing someone's monogamy? That sound like a full time job. The wife in this story was flirting with her co worker, she didn't tell him to go fuck himself, she didn't report him to her boss for sexual harassment, she didn't tell her husband what was going on, she didn't block him, how did he even get her email? You know why she allowed this inappropriate relationship to continue? Cause she enjoyed the attention and was actually thinking about it. Otherwise why not immediately go to HR and report him? Why not blocked his email? Why not stop all forms of communication with him ----- unless it has to do with work? Why not tell her husband and they could've came up with a plan together. No.. she enjoyed his attention. Enjoyed his flirting, enjoyed him talking dirty to her. My problem with this story is only the guy was punished. What was the wife's punishment? Even though the guy was an asshole, he doesn't owe the husband any loyalty. He doesn't know the husband, he wasn't the one who made wedding vows to the husband. He owed him nothing!. The wife on the other hand owed him, respect, love, trust, monogamy. Yet, she got no punishment. The guy gets beat up.. how will the husband know she won't find another guy to flirt with, when they didn't really get to the root as to why she thought it was OK for a married woman to flirt and talk dirty with another man? It will just happen again. There will be more guys flirting and trying to get in her pants. What's going to stop her next time? I don't like stories where the douche bag is the only one punished. He might be a douche but had his wife told the guy to fuck off and meant it. he would've most likely found another willing tramp. He didn't leave the wife alone cause she didn't say it forcefully enough. She didn't stand her ground. she'll say leave me alone and turn around email him his dirty talks makes her panties wet.. no wonder he didn't move on to someone else. She gave him hope that there's a chance for him to get into her thongs. That's why he hadn't found another slut.

Good story. If it's true, getting trust back in the marriage will definitely be hard. A lot of sex might help, but not always. She'll be a lot more careful the next time, and that's what is going to eat away at Johnnie. Always wondering about the next time. If you decide to take this story another 3 or 4 chapters, you should bring her sister into to this. Do it careful, though, maybe they don't get caught until sis had a bump on her belly, then they tell wifey. Or you can move on to your next story. Well done. Keep writing.

This is a good start for a real story. As it is, this is just a recitation of a single event with no context and no plot development. It's done by a writer who isn't very good with dialogue, capitalization, or syntax, and is weak with the some rules of grammar. If he/she learns a few basic rules of composition and does some casual research on how people actually converse with one another, I will look forward to seeing submissions in the future.

Sadly, stories like these only give credence to your preface. In other words, this is the exact reason why most husbands don't stop the wife. Now you're left with a bunch of uncertainty and the wife lives like a prisoner with the husband monitoring her every move. Who really wants to live like that? At least in the stories where the husband sits back and watches, it removes most of the doubt when the wife decides for herself one way or another.

Emotional versus physical. Which type of cheating is Meg guilty of? There's no evidence of her involvement in a physical affair, but definitely she was at the forefront of an emotional one. Meg should have told John about Waylon from the very first text he sent her. Waylon would've had a hard time explaining that evidence to John. Wives should understand they are damaging their relationship with their husbands by keeping them in the dark. Flirting and suggestive innuendo from other men don't sit well with most husbands. Perhaps wives think they're "protecting" their husband from doing something dumb. What they end up doing is performing the enemy's work for them. A husband's own wife becomes the enemy's counter-intelligence unit. What man can perform his duty as defender and protector when his own wife is actively working against him? and it could have easily been a longer and more involved story using the existing premise of her not actually cheating yet. I don't think, at least what we saw, that she was even to an emotional affair yet. It was just inappropriate talk and flirting for a married woman and married man if he was married.

I think you could easily have had a really fun and funny story here using this premise and making it longer and more involved with your sub-characters like the cops, horny sister Carla waiting for the wife to simply screw up, and Axel. Throw a couple of mouthy kids who don't want to see mom or dad make any "mistakes" that would damage the family and some more lothario losers from the office that are friends with this Waylon Burns into the mix and it is a party.

There are a lot of pros and cons for stopping an affair from turning physical or even allowing it to get overly emotional where they are wanting to both meetup and saying the, "I love you's".

The pros are stopping it from happening and allowing the spouse to come to their senses before they make a relationship-ending decision whether it is by the hand of the spouse or by the hand of a skilled predator preying on married women. Then at least some counseling can be attempted to see if the marriage can be saved.

The cons are stopping it may only be a temporary band-aid and might not prevent it from ever happening again, just the spouse being smarter and sneakier about it. Of course, if the spouse wants to step out, nothing will stop them.

I would like to see one of the current "Big Authors" on this site do a challenge with other writers where they write some stories that involve a plot where the Loving Wife never actually gets to the overly emotional or physical cheating stage and what it takes for them to not actually have done it. Whether by their decision, an act of God (natural disaster, disease, Russia invades your city, etc), the husband steps in, or interference from a 3rd party. There have been some good and some not-so-good stories written similar to this using all kinds of things, but having some of today's more talented current writers on this site doing it might be fun.
