All Comments on 'I Waited Twenty Years Ch. 03'

Lars is a mean-spirited predator. His attitude toward the old "bitches" is, in a nutshell, like the attitude of conscienceless used car salesmen toward needy customers who can't help themselves. And even worse than the salesmen, he smirks and laughs and calls them all "bitches" (or worse) repeatedly and obviously without regret. I don't like his cynical selfishness at all. Should I? If you tell me that is what they want, I will say that's all the more reason for me to think his behavior is inexcusably exploitative. He seems to claim some sort of affection for Kristen, but I am not convinced. She's just a convenient repeater that he wants to keep around for use during slow periods with the guests. I know it's a story, but I do prefer to find someone I can like.

Looks like I am 12 years late reading this. I agree that the Lars character is at the moment not nicely portrayed.
