Thanks for sharing it with us. Looking forward to the next installment.
One thing I wish though is for you to have gone into this kind of detail in the previous chapters of this story to draw it out more. I love a long story with great detail to keep me involved.
The silver star is the 3rd highest award for heroism for army members. There is no V for valor to add to it. Vs can be affixed to Meritorious Service Medals and Bronze Star Medals
I'm invested in your characters, so please don't stop just yet!
Can hardly wait for more of this great story. Five stars with bonus points all the way for this story.
And please tell me LTC gets some S-canning for taking someone else's credit!! Dam I hate that crap !! Great read !! Come on chapter # 5
Army is a stickler about their regs, but there are a couple ways this could go, three if the Secretary of the Army has juice enough to change the regulations.
More. More. Please more.
The characters are well done and the action is exciting. Details and technicalities be damned.
BZ.
You have a gift for writing. I have read this series three times., loved it every time. Eagerly waiting for the next chapter.QWhnRD
Great story, great characters, great pace, really well told CRW
As a retired Major I love the fantasy but they still could not fraternize even with the CMH. SEC of ARMY won't change regs. However a battlefield commission is easy peasey. They could then live happily ever after. Also because his actions and time in service he doesn't have to be a 2Lt; he could easily be promoted to Capt. (I've seen it happen) or with literary licence a Major which would make them equals. Also I need to see the Ltc scumbag screwed for lying or better yet get his ass kicked, lose his commission and be demoralized and mortified. All a great story that brought tears to my eyes. 5's for 1-3 and 4 for the abrupt ending leaving me hanging for more. Give us the rest of the story....THAT'S AN ORDER SOLDIER!
p.s....I see him going to chopper school which is another way to get a commission.
Once my tears stopped, I was able to write this
I'm a Vietnam HUEY crewcheif from the 101st. I flew 1000 hrs in the Comancheros. I was in plenty of firefights. The tension was back as I read the combat passages. Well done, but please complete it.
Looking forward to when you're able to get the next chapter (chapters?) out.
Great story
Great writing
This my third time reading
I hope you get time to continue writing
Gritty, punchy writing. Some loose ends need to be better secured but that's why the pros hire editors. I hope this story gets finished. Strong work so far. 5.
I keep coming back to this story hoping for more chapters, can anyone else continue this???
Hope you are well. Looking forward to more of your stories after (re) reading IQ. Many thanks for the pleasure you have given us. ATB
It's been some time since the last chapter, still hoping for more. If not could some other author continue this please.
A good romantic story especially if one has served. The abysmal punctuation and run on sentences are distracting and effectively negate what otherwise is a pretty good read.
I'm still hoping for this story to continue. If the author is unable to continue perhaps some other author might have a go.
