Please keep this up. Tefler's TSM didn't even have this good of a start, and look where it is now! You have a solid premise, with a decent cast, all the elements for a potentially great story. I look forward to seeing what it will become!

I like it so far, even though this chapter is kind of short to base an opinion on. The only thing I didn't like was the description of his childhood friend. "6 foot 4 inches tall, with a waist he could encircle with two hands." You do realize that's only about a 6 inch waist, right? LOL

This is a wonderful story. I first read it a couple of years ago, but wasn't savvy enough to bookmark it or comment on it. Since then I've written a few stories and understand the value of adding stories to favorites and making comments. You have a creative mind and a gift for storytelling.
