"I'll leave you alone for a bit," offered Daniel.
He squeezed Marcie's shoulder as he passed her offering her a smile of his own. Marcie crossed the room slowly looking at the tube running into Nancy's arm.
"I'm going to be o.k. I hear I have you to thank. My hero," said Nancy.
"It wasn't anything I'm sure you would have done the same."
"You honestly think I could carry your big ass anywhere?"
"Hey! I worked hard to build this shapely rear end."
"It is a very sweet ass," laughed Nancy.
"Come here..."
Nancy held out her arms, and Marcie crawled up onto the bed letting the arms embrace her resting her head on Nancy's chest. She felt Nancy's small hand slowly stroking her blond hair.
"Hey Marcie," whispered Nancy.
"Yeah?"
"I love you too."

Alberto_MBFover 1 year agoGreat story, but have you ever been to Beacon Hill … there are no mansions like this. Yes, it’s the most exclusive neighborhood in Boston, but it’s all brownstone-style townhouses. Most of them have even been subdivided into condos. It totally yanked me out of the story, hard to get back into it.

Anonymousover 5 years agoI'm interested in seeing this develop. There are many avenues available for potential conflict. I'm sure Sophia's parents will disapprove of her relationship, either on the basis of age or David's not being Indian. Tip: Take your time and plot it out. There could be many more potential chapters before the inevitable finale of a double wedding.

I would have to disagree a bit with MajorRewrite. The combination of someone really caring for her, combined with her totally loveless parent would, IMO, accelerate Marcie's turn around. Marcie's parents are not going to be happy their daughter is a lesbian. This has legs.
