A very interesting story, though one sided as we're only getting Ashkey's viewpoint. I don't see how this behavior of Ashkey's can end in anything but a disaster for their relationship. There's no communication between her and her husband, so her musings about what her husband might think or do are futile, and indeed, quite selfish. Misplacing blame for her actions on her husband is very unfair.

I apologize, despite my promise I was still curious (perhaps the title led me on) and read the last chapter. It was the least coherent of all. Nothing moved forward, not to mention resolved. Why won't you right a draft with an outline of a plot before you get on with the actuall writing? Just a suggestion.

I honestly, for the life of me, cannot understand the point of this story apart to put forward a woman's justifications for cheating?

I mean, for gods sake, the woman doesn't actually appear to understand the concept of talking to her husband? What happened to a conversation??

Instead she just fondly imagines what her husband is thinking / doing in a way that it makes what she is doing "ok", when it's not.
