Not a bad start. I like the setting of the story and the background telling of the location and characters. I like the build up and the pace of the story. I will continue reading the next installment when it comes out. Thanks for your time and imagination.

I loved this from the title even! ISOBEL is such an old name. I just knew it would be this. Reminds me if Barbara Erskine novels and taking you through time. I am working up the courage to do a period piece. I really loved this, you felt ISOBEL and her feelings, her fear, who stands behind that black grate?!

The mood and build up was so well set up. Thank you!
