I was getting quite excited by the idea of rummaging through my loft for my old chemistry set until that twist ending! Haha. Lovely to read something completely outrageous but so eloquently described. Although using dimethyl sulfoxide seems bit unlikely - everything would have tasted of garlic! I found that a little hard to swallow (pun intended) unlike the rest of the story which, naturally, is completely plausible! 5* from me.

Even though it was not what I'd normally read, I'm glad I stayed with it to the end.

your ending is the funniest thing i have seen or read in a long time. i haven't laughed that hard since i saw my first chris farley movie. it's going in my favorites list just on that alone.
