The story just keeps getting better and better. I can’t wait for part 2. Five stars.
So he lost 5 years of his kids lives, she destroyed their family and had sex with another man but he's always loved her?? She also put her kids in a very dangerous situation, but hey she's got a great arse, all is forgiven! Love is not only blind but stupid. Also, good job all the bad guys are incompetent!
I have really enjoyed this series of stories along with the twists. The background and situations were all real but I could not understand releasing news on the Today show?
Another 5 star chapter. Excellent read. Loving this story, very much. Right up my alley!
Truly outstanding writing. Very creative, without any superhero (or bulletproof) characters.
Baldy - Yes to the first part: the heart wants what the heart wants, I guess, and he’s obviously an arse man. Are all the bad guys hapless? Have been so far, although the pre-planning, remote locations, and outside support have aided our heroes cause. Part two might provide a clearer answer.
What a fantastical tale. Characters are well defined and dialogue sympathetic to their lives. The plot has developed well and is generally believable. Sadly, from what I am learning from the news emerging from the USA, I am beginning to realise the whole tenet is realistic. Fiction based on fact?
Sniper the truck driver, truck rolls in a ditch… shot the scurrying survivors
Great story so far but you need to get over the idea that all a woman has to do is flash a little tit or pussy and us weak and stupid men will forgive them anything!
Have enjoyed and read this story for 3rd time. Not so much for the sex but just over story and your descriptions of Texas. When next chapter coming.
Txchevy1963, I’m sketching out part 2. It will be mid-February most likely.
Looking forward to Part 2 Texican1830. Just read this one again. Look forward to the fireworks part 1 created.
Too much! Of practically everything!
Might be enjoyable, if one is capable of suspending reason. I wasn't.
2 stars ... simply for the effort.
While I like the story and fully enjoyed every aspect of it. The are a lot of haters out there that just do not get that it is a story.
They are giving you crap for taking writers privilege for how your story goes. I say let them have their say and take it for what it's worth (just like mine). A single opinion that is a point of view.
Your story was put together in a way that I liked. If someone has never been in combat or extreme emergencies, they have no clue of the stress level and adrenaline rush and the collapse after it wears off. Your writing brings that all to light.
All I ask is that you keep writing this stuff. I enjoy it.
I like this writers work but this multi-part tale is a good example of why I hesitate to get into a multi-part tale until all the chapters are up. It's now mid-March, and after seeing the previous chapters posted on a regular basis, there's been no continuation of this story for 2 1/2 months. Has it been abandoned? Who knows. Texican, you're certainly not obligated to anyone here, but I'd sure like to see this story continued/concluded.
I’ve been working on The Girl from the Ouachita (6 of 7 chapters done). I’ll return to Paranoia soon, but right now I’m supporting my wife’s recent surgery. Also have another chapter of Hardscrabble sketched out.
This chapter of Paranoia was meant to be an ending of part 1, and a place for a pause. The characters need time to grow - I was getting stale. Anyway, thanks for reading!
Thanks for the response! I'll keep checking. I hope all goes well with your wife, Sir.
Great story. Have downloaded the new chapters off to start reading them now.
5/5
Very good story with some action. A bit to much description and a very long sex scene. But it still deserves 5 stars
