A quirky and interesting tale that I was going to 5*, even with a reference to Simon?

Then I had to drop to a 3* due to a line about building walls around yourselves to be called a country...as opposed to being called paranoid like a certain extremely divisive ex-President I suppose?

Well written and very entertaining story. My only nitpick is that someone who supports building the wall between the US and Mexico giving $97 million away to charities and only keeping $3 million is less believable than Izzy the energy-based alien.

I have to admit that I enjoyed this story. Maybe the best Aliens vs Cheating Wives story I've read in a while. I was.hoping he would vaporize Cindy and Alex like saddletramp would, but this was interesting revenge. Like sbishop says, the door is open for Izzy to return.

Silly thru-out - stupid in the ending. I could understand giving 50 million to charity. No one is stupid enough to give basically all the money to charity. Especially when things can go expensively wrong on construction projects. The political comment was laughable. The southern border of the US is over 1900 miles long. Even IF you could fence it all (you can't) the only thing you would end up with is a fence that looked like a piece of swiss cheese. There are already holes thru and under the new fence. But having Cindy end up as a high class escort making a lot of money (how would he even know that?) and Alex being a gay lawyer was just too much baloney for the average story. This whole story was simply a train wreck.

They prevent from the outside but also can obstruct from going outside. More important is, in what kind of state of mind the habitants on bought side of the wall are and... who has the control of the wall and what‘s the real purpose ( Ich kenne Mauern zu gut. )

Anyway the story was funny but could do much better in SF

Funny read, expect for the wall line.

I grew up in a country (east germany) that tried to protect it's people via a wall. November 1989 should have teached us a lesson about walls and what to do with them.

Still hope the land of the free does not turn into a land of the walled.

East German would ever claim the wall was built to protect the population.

It's just not something one would ever say or think.

It's funny how the ignorance of the average leftist exposes the bs they try to peddle, you're as much East German as sushi is.

You would be surprised to find that the East Germans are intelligent enough to understand the difference between a wall built by a communist to stop people escaping and one built by a democratically elected leader to keep people out.

Enjoyed the story as well as the humorous comments by the uninformed.

What a great fucking story! Really enjoyable. I only had one problem: my darling wife, who was in the kitchen cooking, kept asking me why I was laughing. Knowing her aversion to my Literotica habit, I had to think fast. But not fast enough, unfortunately. She came in from the kitchen and saw what I was reading. I swore to her that there was no sex in this story (she never believes me - I don't know why). I guess it's the guest room for me tonight. Damn, and I was wicked horny. Izzy, where are you when I need you???

I notice one small comment in this story about building the southern wall causes irrational hatred from the leftists. You leftists have no sense of humor. Fuck Off!!!

I'll get off my soap box now. I thought the story was witty, well presented. We were shown the value of work and the contribution to our self image that unforced charitable giving provides. The Free Lovers among us got a high end escort doing what she likes best. The Gay community got a happily married couple. And finally our MC met the love of his life and is happily married. What's not to like?

To the complainers: these are short stories; by definition you have to take some leaps of faith and logic. Otherwise, they'd be novels. Izzy is great. True, the character borrows a lot from ET and Alf and maybe Michael, but it's a great character if we're going to take a detour from (boring) reality.

Not bad. Minor quibble, not worth mentioning normally as most authors would not understand, but you seem a cut above. Make that, a bolt, above. "Continue on." Since the character us not represented as uneducated, and using a double conjunctive alludes to that, why not eliminate it? Uneducated folks will never notice if you wrote, "continue," and educated folks won't mentally stumble over that bump in the sidewalk of the story. It detracts unnecessarily. Thank you for your efforts, though the swearing was perhaps just a tad over played. Or, maybe the character was lacking in GPA, and I missed the subtlety.

Good story! Very masterfully written. Even the lack of long term revenge on the cheaters didn't make me dislike it.

Interesting story, until you had to throw politics in at the end. Maybe we SHOULD build a wall, to keep scum sucking traitors from attacking and ransacking the capital building? Maybe we should arm seniors with AR-15’s, so they can defend their social security ( that they paid in for, and their employer, their whole life) from the same scum sucking traitors.
