I'm intrigued by the fact that Sabre doesn't realize this is his mate. Is this a difference because of the type of shifter he is? Do they have fated mates or does he not expect to have one and only has feelings he can't quantify?

What does Sabre do when he's out of jail? Is he part of any society or does he just float around getting in trouble? lol I love how he has been in and out so many times. How long is this stint for?

You haven't told us what punishment they are facing. Is there a court system? Does Percy know how long he's to be in there? Does he have a chance to defend himself? You said that his alpha ousted him and sent him here. Is that it? Is this the final resting place for him? (Maybe a beta reader can help point out where you can interject some more info to answer questions like these to help the reader along)

Are they aloud to shift in this jail?

I really loved how you had Percy acting so innocent with Sabre and yet he'd have these little smiles behind his back when he knew he'd found a crack or gotten Sabre to ackowlege him in some way. Go Percy!
