I know Atalanta deserved death but I do blame Kaev for the monster she had become. I put myself in her shoes, imagine someone I loved told me he'd love me forever and turned me and then, after a few hundred years decided that we weren't good together and he wanted his true mate. Imagine that I was still crazy about him and then, after 400 hundreds of being together I'm suddenly all alone, and probably the only one of my kind in that area. I'd be PISSED too! Atalanta is obviously vindictive and a crazy one that took things to the extreme but I do understand her hatred.

I so much enjoyed this story! I love stumbling across a great series just after it's completed for a good binge read. Too often I'm so disappointed when a promising story is abandoned, with no explanation, after investing into the characters. I'm really impressed that is a debut offering, and look forward to reading the next series. I kind of felt the ending was a bit rushed, but overall I would recommend it to fans of the genre. Great story and sexy times were hot!
