Damned well done. Great story and superbly written.

This author has a technique of taking a moment out of peoples' lives and yet making you feel their whole lives and their pain and joy. This is well written and I can fill in the blanks and enjoy the process. Certainly a 4*

Had to go back and re-read the last part again. The description of 'bolted' set me back yet is already a very description.
