Eight chapters in a month. And now a month with no chapter 9? Still hoping to find out why our narrator eventually loses his position and leaves the Knights? And still hoping to find out what is in it for the Maidens, or why they put up with it. I get that they show strength, but that doesn't seem like a benefit, or a motivation to stay.
