Friday it might well be, but having read this beautifully written chapter, my weekend starts here. By the time I saw that this had been published, my cuckold had left for work, so thank goodness for my trusty rabbit! One teeny-weeny query, Pixiehoff. Does Dorothy L. Sayers have a sister, or maybe a cousin, who was almost named after her? Lol! 5 more stars. You must have quite a collection from this series alone, my dear!

I am so glad that you are enjoying it so much. On Sayers, I can find no record of one. Thanks for the stars, always welcome xxxxxx

Lady Pixie's Lover (revelations)

"Yon Cranmer must have been a miserable old git," opined Olivia Mellors snapping shut The Book of Common Prayer she been browsing through, "When I pop me clogs, I'd like something less gloomy read over me." The faithful quimkeeper never failed to astonish Lady Pixie who asked "Such as?" "How about Donne," said Mellors, "His line 'For God's sake hold your tongue, and let me love'?" Lady P's jaw dropped and she seized Mellors' hand. "I think we'd better go to the potting shed," she said.

And you never let us down, Pixie. Another five-star chapter to please our appetites for your stories. Good to see the all-round reconciliations (save one) within Lady P's family. Whenever I read of Pixie's Mama, it makes me think of old Queen Mary, a classic piece of Victoriana transplanted into the early- and mid-20th century. They bred 'em tough in those days. Great work, Pixie!

The Best and 5 Stars Everytime

Your stories are always the best and you made them better with a nod to the great writing of T.S. Eliot, one of the best like your writings. As noted before your blending of drama romance history family relationships and sexual adventures makes you at the very top of all writers on Literotica. As such a joy to read your works of art. Keep up the great skills you have and thanks for taking your valuable time to write for the enjoyment of your fans. We all appreciate you sense of what the world has to offer those that are willing to look for it. Cheers

Darling Pixie,

This episode inspired some random musings in me.

***

Darkness is the absence of light. Without light, darkness would not even exist as a definition. Light, however, is energy that exists in its own right. Therefore light always wins.

***

Men are such delightfully simple creatures. Why not embrace simplicity? Every man comes into existence as a newborn through a woman. Then he comes into existence again, made into a man by a woman. Why should a father not feel this simple joy of seeing his son becoming a man?

A father should honor and cherish the mother of his child and be eternally grateful to her. He should also feel gratitude and respect for the woman who made his son a man.

***

How about James making Jenny "an honest woman" once he comes safely back from Greece? That would be a big deal in English society, as it would go a long way toward tearing down the walls between upper class and working class.

It would be as revolutionary and shocking as a woman marrying a woman with full approval and support of the Church of England.

Both actions would be so right, because they were done out of love. And where is love, there is light.

Thank you darling Maonaigh - yes, old Cranmer had a feel for death - but in the midst of it, there is life, and I hope here, with the light returning, it is reflected in the story xxxxx

Miss Pixiehoff, Really impressive how you are able to adopt the style of writing and speaking of the period so naturally and consistently. If this were taken out of the Literotica environment and read in the mainstream, anyone unfamiliar with the real author could easily assume they were reading a story written by a much older aristocratic woman. Obviously that is the persona of Lady Pixie in whose voice you are writing, but not easy for an author of a recent generation to wear so well. Just saying, so you know that at least some of your readers truly appreciate the effort and skill you bring to your craft in your stories such as this series, beyond just the sex that we all come to Lit for as a prerequisite.

Thank you darling Pixie, I was beginning to despair that you had abandoned this tale in favor of your other project. But, glory be, you are back with a further episode and it is as brilliant as ever. A thoroughly good read and thought provoking as well. Needless to say that it gets the five stars it deserves

Shurlin, how very kind of you to notice, and even kinder of you to say so - I really do appreciate that xxxxx

.

The opening of this chapter - the funeral, Crammer's somber words, and Lady P's cold mother - had the feeling of a dark, completely overcast day where you wonder if the sun is still shining behind the clouds. And then individual brilliant rays of light started breaking through: James reconnecting the reluctantly and regretfully estranged family, the subsequent party, and Jenny and James "connecting". Then the light completely broke through with Lady P's and Beccy's incandescent "reunification". - There are a lot of competing / compelling storylines in this piece, but I still feel Lady P and Beccy are the "Sun" which everything else orbits around. This chapter ended on a hopeful note, but in love and war one never knows what could happen next. I look forward to finding out. 🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿

Wow. Many poets , scholars and writers to movie makers have always tried to define love. You may have just put a rational thought on a very irrational emotion. Well done as always.... " We had passed through those tempests of early love, where lust burns strong and fierce enough, it seems, to devour your very self, and where what you want is her, her in all her beauty, all her glory, all her magnificence, and to spend every night in passion with her. That is not to say those things remained not; they did. It is to say though that added to them was that I wanted her in all her manifestations: her sadness as well as her joy; her tears as well as her laughter; her bad times as well as her good times. The existential darkness out there was no weapon against her luminescence in my soul. Did I want her? Yes, Did I just want sex with her? No."

As Always, the history and the characters are such an enjoyment to read when they blend. And oh yeah.. the sex was pretty good also!

My darling Pixie, I am sorry this has taken so long for me to find this chapter. I was looking forward to it then I was distracted. You do this sort of work so well. I can imagine everything around me, from the clothing to the food. How you do that is beyond me. I found myself praying for James and Jack; how foolish, but then again, there is always a James or a Jack in terrible places standing between the darkness and the light for all of us. May God continue to bless them, especially in these terrible times. I am looking forward to the continuation of this story.
