Ah, the Season. I remember very well the cinema newsreels showing the annual parades of debs when I was a kid and a teenager. What stood out was that none of the young ladies looked very happy (perhaps their mamas had told them it was vulgar to display emotions in front of the hoi polloi). That said, it was little more than an upper-class meat-market. This chapter reads rather like an example of Victorian erotica, the kind of thing published by the French publisher Olympia Press well into the 20th Century. D/s isn't really my thing, Pixie, but I'll give it a chance because I admire your 'Rahab' tales so much.

Except for the use of the word "Mistress" it was not that bad a start and am looking forward to reading more

Do bear with it, and of course "Mistress" was the commonest term used by servants, so in context is packs an extra punch when Lady Pixie uses it.

Lovely story. A shy young girl called to be in the public spotlight and manage the household, shown affection by her wonderful maid... it's no wonder she responds to it like that. The fact they both love each other makes it even better.

Thoroughly enjoyable role reversals. You are right it's about trust, at the heart of every good relationship ( not matter what kind) is trust. The cuddle at the end was nice. I eagerly await to see what is next for Lady Pixie and Annie. Thank you Pixie

It is a clever setting. A lady and her maid naturally enjoy a level of intimacy, because the maid's job involves dressing and undressing the lady and help her look beautiful.

Therefore seduction is only a small step away. Lady Cynthia takes the initiative and quickly becomes Annie's little bitch.

However, in my mind the role reversal truly happens only after Annie's orgasm and their initial bonding.

When Annie realizes that she is the decisionmaker now, she tests Pixie's willingness to do things she is not inclined to do, namely exposing herself to the male staff.

Pixie's consent is enough. Annie spares her the challenge. Instead she rewards her new submissive by putting the slave collar on her.

Pixie manages to tell the story of a blossoming D/s relationship in a single episode. It takes only one afternoon to go from initiation to collaring, and yet it does not feel rushed.

Like many of the comments below, it is a well told, well written story of the beginning of a loving Ds relationship. To many of us in the lifestyle, it is as natural as getting out of bed every morning. If you are a naturally submissive person, your station in life means little and like wise if you have a naturally dominant personality, then your position you are born into will mean absolutely nothing to the right sub.
