The story was written well. I pictured Nick as the type that worked to get them past inhibitions with alcohol, so him going to his just rewards by not drinking “responsibly” is poetic justice. For those who put more blame on the wife, the guy is a serial seducer who is bound to have gotten to SOME wives who were not looking for what he was ultimately selling. 5 stars

A fake BTB, since in a marriage the real culprit to blame is the cheater, NOT the lover, as too much often happens in these kind of tales. The husband married his wife, not the lover, and was the wife to take vows, not the lover. So, in this fake BTB, the lover paid dearly, but the whore wife remains untouched. Certainly not a good and realistic tale, even though much better than the regular absurd fetish-cuck fantasies.

If it wasn’t Nick, it would have been someone else, Carl’s wife was obviously looking for strange, it could have been anyone, nothing special needed to get her. The judge that screws over the innocent getting their justice would be a welcome change of pace, too many stories about the slut wife getting theirs. Plus people like Carl having someone else do their dirty work is the cowards version of justice. 2 stars

He put on a full court press to get the deed done. Justice-what exactly is justice. Saddletramp1956 has one version or I should say many versions. But most end in death. Or is his going through life questioning why any better? Or should he wait until the kids turn 18 in another what 10 years max. So he sits there letting this eat him up-or pay through the nose while the wife turns the kids against him. Yeah, I would choose this justice also.

Well written story. I wonder a bit about the hate for the "Other Guy." It's not like he went looking for your wife because he wanted to hurt you. He didn't drug her, blackmail her or coerce her in any way. She appeared before him, ripe for the picking and he did what guys do. He did say he chases married Hoes and that's wrong, but they always do it because they want to, and not because he forces them. It's kinda like blaming MasterCard because your wife spends too much. I liked it. As they talked I was thinking that Nick had been to Miami and had Brody’s (or his associate’s) wife, and Brody would deliver his own justice. As the 42yo woman was described I thought maybe Brody’s wife had traveled to Dallas for business.

As for Carl, he was betrayed by his wife, she’s supposed to be loyal. She’s the ne who should have been taken care of’. What Nick did was selfish and not nice, but a really good beating with solid injuries would have been more appropriate.

He's a douche for sure but he really didn't do anything wrong. The one thing that protects him is that it sounds like he's just having one night stands. If it were an affair then he wouldn't be able to escape having some blame if caught and a family is destroyed. But one night stands are different. He know's nothing of the nature of her relationship and it's none of his business. It's like finding a good conversation partner at a bar. You buy each other rounds and have a great time but it turns out they're an alcoholic. It would be one thing if you were to continue going every night to drink with them but if it was a one time thing it's not your fault.

Nick desperately needed his shit shoved in. But not killed. He shows more than a couple traits that are consistent with sociopaths. But he really wasn't in the wrong. Just an asshole.
