He sipped at his coffee as he considered his next move. If he was to assist with the process of saving himself from the dark fate he'd somehow suffered, he needed a clean break.
His truck was in the driveway, and the road was just beyond.
Regardless of what that inner voice said, Cole knew he had a new Primary Mission. He'd felt it years ago, and he needed to feel it again.
Cole would find love again. It was out there. He just had to go out and find it.

After conscious purpose reset, starting again without heartbreak and lingering depression. (So easy?)
Southdown5 months agoReally Good, I wrote and asked if you were doing any more Shepherd and MacDenny but this was easily equal to all those stories but this one certainly needs a follow-up and capture of the ex wife etc. Pregnancy results and continuation would be a treat if you can.
