I'll chalk this chapter up to a transition. From engagement announcement to wedding preparation. It's been a great and long story from chapter 1 until now. Every long story has a lull, which is a set-up for something bigger and more chaotic. I hope that is forthcoming in chapter 24. The key points in this chapter are a very small and fleeting glimpse of a possible maternal bone in Angelina. She is distracted by the preparations for pageantry, which makes Tom impatient. Angelina's fainting spell leads Tom to change-up his fuck her while she's passed out routine. Apparently, he's taking on a more adult tone than most guys his age. This is normal and natural. However, do we want Tom to be an old soul in a young man's body?
