Meh, not even a good pun.

Not up to your usual fine standards.

Even the joke was lame.

Last time I read a pun like this in a Si-Fi short story

it was by Isaac Asimov!

Nicely done, Spencer!

Why is this in Loving Wives?

How many wives are in this story? This isn't a vague question and the answer isn't vague either, there are exactly zero wives in this story.

Given that, wrong category dude.

Not bad

Simple enough for me to follow. I enjoyed it.

OK, it could have been worse.

Thanks for that.

Clearly you are on this site as a reader but you really need to get your act together in that "skill set" if you think this story is in the wrong genre, as the penultimate line in the story gives you Jim's whole reason for his exacting revenge from his Uncle: "I hardly knew Tess recently, but Wat had left my kids without their mother."

Eh?

Well, that was interesting. 5 stars

Ugh. No. Just no.

My wife loves a good... and a terrible pun, so this might be ok with her. But me? I just won’t score it.
