Really liked the character development and the fact that four paragraphs in the central characters are not screwing. Love these 'slow burn' type stories and "the happy ending", though I kept wondering when/if things would go awry either momentarily or permanently.

What an awesome story

I really enjoyed the story like all the other commenters, but like ReaderforPleasure, everything was going so well, I expected injury or death for the main characters. The one thing I also kept expecting was how Rhett handled being a gay and married bull rider. There was this:

“Cody came with the kids on tour for any events on the west side of the country. The four of us traveled like a well oiled machine. We always had fun in the hotel rooms and the pool area. Seeing Cody with the kids in the arena while I rode was sheer perfection.”

Uhhhh was his gayness an open secret? How did the other riders respond? That aspect was glossed over, as well as a gay couple approved for fostering and adoption in such a Republican state (although I read the Missoula is hella LGBTQ+ friendly). I can understand wanting to tell charmed love story, but things went almost *too* well for this family. Still, a pleasant and engaging read. Nicely done.

Excellent story. Great well developed characters. Having followed the PBR for years and went to the championship once in Las Vegas, it was very relatable. Mentioning JB was a nice touch. Always had the hots for the Brazilian cowboys. The coming out was genuine and well written. Best friends to partners is always awesome. Thanks for the wonderful read.

Excellent writing, story, plot, and character development. It’s perhaps the very best on this site. I note, however, that Rhett and Cody’s perfect life is pretty rare - especially in states like Montana and Wyoming. I contrast it to Brokeback Mountain and it’s heartbreaking tale of two men who never found the happiness Rhett and Cody had primarily because of the homophobia and hate that still exists around the world. With the author’s story telling skills, perhaps he (she) could write a gay love story that is both sexy and poignant - two men who struggle to triumph over LGBTQ discrimination. Love is love no matter who the two adults are, but gay love is often not so easy or perfect. Even so, Love at Crow Creek is a beautifully erotic love story.

An enjoyable read. The erotica took a back seat to the characters. Would have been better if Rhett had been challenged & tempted a bit more when on the tour circuit.

But I enjoyed it.

I know readers were looking for the twist or drama but I actually enjoyed reading a nice feel good story of two young men who discovered their sexuality and love for each other, with zero homophobia clouding them. A real happily ever after. I wouldn't change a thing. 💖
