FYI, nude and clothing optional venues are not referred to as "nudist colonies." There are nudist/clothing optional resorts which are just like any other resort except clothing is not required. Many are family oriented and child friendly. There are also nudist/naturist communities where residents live live a normal life except they do so nude. The term "nudist colony" is dated having been used in the 1940's & 50's.
