Vandana and Kishan are repugnantly selfish, ungrateful and disrespectful. There is no evidence they are developing into even marginally admirable people despite Vijay's consistent example of generosity and selfless love. The story grew tedious and repetitive as they took every opportunity to demonstrate the darkness of their distasteful personalities.

I do not understand the caste system, but Vandana and Kishnan seem perfectly suited for life as Dalits. May this be their well deserved destiny.
