I think more would have liked it under the first time category

That was really good! I love the vibe of the story. I suggest going through it once or twice more, you have some wonky grammar and a few spelling errors. There are a lot of run on sentences you'll want to flesh out. I noticed you use the same words a lot, that will tend to turn readers off. That being said it still didn't top me from giving you five stars the story telling of the piece was stellar. you do a great job of building sexual tension between the two main characters, You've got some good vocabulary and i really enjoyed the descriptions of the acts as well. great job this is the first piece I've read on here that got a five out of me. don't stop writing.

Although “Pressed Violet” is the sequel to “Lover’s Glade”, you tell us the one is not required to enjoy the other. True — I read “Pressed Violet” first, and continue to reread time and again. A remarkably captivating, beautifully written piece with characters and images so memorable. One of the central characters of that compelling historical fantasy is the beautiful, battle-hardened witch, Riona. So, in a way, I lament not having read “Lover’s Glade” first because I would have come to know her as a young witch drawn to Meabh, her first lover. Their time together over the solstice is an erotically beautiful scene. I know that “Pressed Violet” is set well into the future, but I sought reference to Meabh in that tale to my regret. Maybe if Aedwen and Riona cross paths again (my hope) or Riona is central to another fantasy she will share those moments of lust or love promised to never be forgotten. OK, pretty clear I am wrapped up in your writing — so damn fine.

I know that “Pressed Violet” is set well into the future, and while no reference to Meabh, love making between Aedwen and Riona resonates.

Maybe paths cross again (my hope) between Aedwen and Riona, or Riona is central to another fantasy when she will share those moments with Meabh of lust or love promised to be in hearts eternal. OK, pretty clear I am wrapped up in your writing — so damn fine.
