Sorry, the number of grammatical errors were very off putting. Never thought of myself as a grammar nazi but there you go. Not sure if English is your first language (if not you've done a wonderful job) but it might be advisable to have someone edit your stories before publishing.

I agree with the previous commenter - it doesn't seem like English. On one level it sort of fits with the persona of 'Deesha' the narrator as we can imagine her speaking... but on another level it's just bad English. Take your pick. Nice trick with the voicemail though.
