I don’t as a rule do negative comments as the stories I read , and enjoy have been written by someone who has taken the time and effort to do so.

To me this reads like the introduction of a longer story. The strange, repeated, casual yet alien encounters set up an atmosphere. As a reader I was waiting for something to really happen.
