If a person hates something, why do they sneak around and basically lie to achieve it? Once you know they really dont hate it. Then you realize they really hate you. <p>Just in that paragraph you created a huge a-hole. I mean he says he'll never trust her, he'll probably have an affair of his own, he has her where he wants her, but for the time being he'll use her fear of leaving her to force her to do what he wants until he makes up his mind. You may have meant it to show confusion on his part, but he seemed to know what he wanted to do and doing it was at the cost of making her do what he always wanted.</p>

<p>You did the same with the wife. Affairs really don't just happen. One person has to work at showing interest, then the other has to accept. Then they both work at hiding it if they don't want anyone to know what they are doing. But the you have the wife really dismissing it as no big deal that <i>just happened</i>. Her biggest concern is keeping him from leaving her at the moment.</p>

<p>Then the wife, after agreeing to the husbands demands, still tries to get things to go her way (he say's naked, she puts on sexy underwear, he said blowjob she decides to plead off, etc). She seemed to be trying to keep everything where it started. She really didn't come off as remorseful as much as it did that she was temporarily desperate, and once he asked for just sex she was happy to still try and manipulate the situation.</p>

<p>And his agreeing to not leave her for the time being was enough to help get over her dislike of tasting his cum? That one session? I would have thought it would be something more drawn out, like learning to make it an acquired taste.</p>

I don't read these stories to get an English or literature education, I read for pleasure and since it's fiction I try not to put a psychological face on the chacters or plot.

I just wanted to clarify a few things related to the comments made. First of all, I intentionally used no names for the characters; I wanted the reader to feel a bit detached from the story. Partly this was because both characters were inherently unlikeable; he really is no better than she is, as it certainly seems like he is prepared to use her to get back at her. And she seems manipulative and not especially remorseful, but he seems inclined to overlook this. I personally don't think this marriage will last. (And Risq, as for your objection about her not liking his cum, it wasn't that she didn't like it, it was that she was never willing to taste it. Maybe she did like it the first time she tried it, in the story. In fact, she probably did.) As for objections about STDs and counseling and such, this is a story about two people really in denial about a lot of things. Remember, we don't really know what exactly the wife did in cheating on her husband. I guess if I have to explain the story, though, it didn't turn out as well as I hoped...

If you didn't like the content, that really is fine; no story is for everyone. But any comments on how the story (or my writing) can be improved are certainly welcome, and there have been a few of those. Thank you for the constructive comments.

Why can't the readers accept a story as a snapshot in people's lives. One of the reason readers did not like JPB stories was that he would just write an interesting episode in the main character's life rather than giving the life's outcome. I enjoyed this story because it reflected the flaws of "making it up to you" with respect to cheating. No matter how good the makeup sex was you get the real sense that nothing has changed. The husband had no further assurance that what caused his wife to cheat on him is resolved or the relationship is stable. Since the husband is a jerk if she does not respect him this sex education session solves nothing. If the wife cheated because she could (she confessed, he did not find out) then being treated as a sex object makes it less likely she would confess about the next time. The husband made it clear that the sex was about his pleasure so why can't the wife go out again for her pleasure? There is no happy ending here nor should there be! Thanks for an excellent story!

Extremely well written. Some people who have commented have said that they didn't like the cheating aspect, or the characters. I don't think that you especially have to like characters to have a good story. I doubt that their marriage will work out, but that's fine. I doubt these two assholes will ever be happy. I'm not sure how it should end up. Story or not things have to make some sort of sense. This woman supposedly doesn't like sex. So why would she seek out a guy to have sex? We are not given any insight into why she did. The problem is, given this nebulous start, why should he forgive her and stay with her?
