Wow. This has to be your best piece yet. It sure is my favourite. I felt transported on that birthday trip. At one point I had to check to see if I was rocking that bikini (smh). I don't know what was the best part but I must mention the poem. Wow. Perfect. It pulled my strings, it called to me, it seduced my senses. I just snuggled into it and smiled. This story was absolutely perfect. I didn't even think about all the other things that must have happened - shared meals, sunbathing, wind whipping through hair, snuggling on chilly nights as it cut through the water - until long after.
