In high school I mowed the yard for the couple 2 doors down. In the fall of my Sr year, the man dies unexpectedly.

My Mother would loan me out to help do all kinds of thins for Mrs Jones. I doubt she knew the bonus I was getting almost weekly from Mrs Jones. She was an awesome teacher, Mrs Jones Granddaughter ( almost 8 years younger than me and my wife for the last 39 years) has certainly enjoyed how much and how well I learned from Nanna.

The story ends quit abruptly with no real ending.

What happens to our storyteller and Martha? Are they in love? Are he staying og leaving after the summer?

I hope somethimg went missing in editing and that there os an ending to this story...
