Anonymousover 5 years agoAlthough it is true that a person cannot be hypnotized to do something that is not in their nature to do, there are two things to keep in mind. Inside almost every person is an inner self that they strive hard to keep secret from everybody else. Kleptomania, for instance. Or homosexuality or lesbianism. Secondly, over time, gradually, step by step, a person can eventually be led to do something they would not normally do. Think Patty Hearst. My little sister had a schoolgirl crush on my boyfriend until I married him. And she gave up all hope of having him. And she went on to marry and had 3 children of her own. But my husband and I split up. And I think my ex-husband and sister are hooking up now. It can and does happen. Nancy
