I loved the story, as I do all of your work. It made me cry in a few spots, (just because I identify with a bunch of what Victor/Vicki is experiencing) please continue to write and post. I always look forward to your stories.

Wonderfully developed storyline, and very well written. It had me imaging myself in Vicki's place and experiencing all the emotions along with her.

Thank you for such a lovely, romantic story. You write with a terrific voice - compact but rich. The characters were rich and believable.

First a few things to point out. First in two places you switched to 1st person narration. Second when Vicki found the cars you only named the Cadillac but not the Corvette on the other car. And there are some typos here and there. Besides that it is a very, very beautiful story. I wouldn't mind for a pt. 2 instead of the epilogue. And when George was talking about secrets I was sure he was transgender, that would be ineresting :) And lastly I want to thank you for that that the hero/ine was again a green eyed redhead :) Keep up the wonderful writing. I can't wait for your next work.

Great Love Story

Such an amazing read. Thank you for taking the time to write this! I can’t wait to read more of your work.

That is in my top five favorite stories. Everything comes across as so real but especially the emotions. You managed to elicit pretty much every emotion I have and I think I had to rent a couple that I was lacking. This is a beautiful, sexy tale of anger, change acceptance but mainly love. I really found it wonderful the way Vickis father went from looks of confusion and disgust to acceptance and then fatherly love and devotion to his daughter and I had tears not just from that but also when Mickey showed unwavering support and caring for Vicki. This is a story that I am going to be reading over and over and especially when could use a good cry. Thank you for this deeply beautiful tale that has been authored in only a way that you could.

Clearly written by someone who knows what it is like to transition... at least the happy feels. Would love a story showing a little more of the angst, but I've read this story at least 10 times now and I love ALL. OF. IT! ////I think the sex is beautiful, the story even more beautiful!

What a wonderful tale Shelby, and one that for me, was a welcomed surprise!

So many men struggle their entire lives trying to prove that they are just as tough as those who are much bigger and more masculine than they are, and just like Victor, they never laugh, smile or sadly, ever let their guards down.

However, you show how a nice man, with a life long chip on his shoulder, transitioned into a much happier person.

I loved how Vickie’s dad love for Victor won out, even after his initial disapproval ( and how his mom’s devotion never faulted ). With those two behind her, nothing could have ever stopped Vicky!

Shelby, this is a great story. It had a lot of great content and the characters were portrayed perfectly! Your other stories make great reading too. Please keep them coming I'm looking forward to more.
