Excellent storytelling! You have mastered the weave of characters and storylines into a compelling tale of love, compassion, and acceptance with all the challenges and heartache that entails. I really am pulling for Jonathan and Mindy to come back together and hope that they do. Perhaps the gifts that he gave her before they parted will help her understand how much he means to her. At the same time I'm super curious as to what the doctor said to her in the examination room to precipitate such an about face in her attitude towards Jonathan. Perhaps we'll find that out in the next chapter. Looking forward to it...

...To teach others just how there issues actually affect us in real life, and yet this is such a compelling fictional romance. I love how you show Mindy's issues to be the horror they are, and yet she too, has the same issues we've all had as transgendered dealing with the drugs we must take on a daily basis. It brings it so close and personal, that having a character like Jonathan view of it all from 'above' so to speak, lets us see it in a much clearer perspective. And then there's Mia, and the terrible conflicts she's felt with making her decision to have her operation. Even when we feel so sure of what we want to become, taking this step is a tremendous effort and certainly 30-40 years ago just finding the Doctors with the proper training and infrastructures to support these operations was incredibly hard. Today things are so much easier, and yet making the decision is every bit as difficult, and this story really brings it all so very close for me. EXCELLENT chapter cliptoe!
