All Comments on 'Mike and Sarah Pt. 01: A New Beginning'

For me this doesn’t feel entirely like a romance, well not like most of the romances I’ve read here on Lit anyway. The Dom/sub element of the story pushes it very clearly towards bdsm, whether it continues that way in pt2 remains to seen, but at present it’s borderline that it’s in the wrong category. Yes, there’s a discussion to be had about stories bridging categories, but I’m not going to be the catalyst for it, talk to Laurel/Site Admin if you have an issue. That said, it’s a good story, it builds well and we empathise with the MC’s, I assume pt2 is in the pipeline, if so I’m hoping an aggrieved Mancunian Dom doesn’t feature, that would be predictable, boring and frankly the story and characters are worth more. Please keep writing, I like the gentle rise in affection and emotion and also the guarded nature both of our mc’s have. Cheers, Ppfzz 4⭐️

Took me a while before I figured out that this was the guy from your previous story about closure. I was hoping there would be a follow up story on him because it seemed like Helen already got her happy ever after & it was time for Mike to get his.....

Infatuation strikes like a bolt of lightning sometimes doesn't it? Infatuation and love both? We shall see in part 2 that. Infatuation, love and devotion? Now that would be a trifecta! Superb writing. 5 stars.

Very good story. Verb tense seemed to be a problem but that is minor. Looking forward to more stories.

Great characters, love the story! Switching between past and present tense is a bit distracting though.

Part 1 is a fiver for sure. I'm off to the next part. Can't wait to see how it goes.
