Either this is a rewrite or plagiarism. There has been such a story published here a while back, plot, settings and characters all the same. So, I am wondering

If the original story was REJECTED, how did we READ it if it was REJECTED and never posted? It WAS posted because I read the original story...so I don't understand the reason for the rewrite...

It was on the site for quite some time and then eventually taken down, I believe, due to minor teenage characters involved in a dream sequence in the story. I reworked much of it because I have had a follow up chapter in mind. Hope I've cleared things up. The editors are welcome to do as they choose obviously. Sorry for any confusion and thanks again for reading/commenting.
