Nice Story

The only concern was the bizarre colour references, it just seems counter intuitive to adopt an atypical “colour scheme”. The thought of carrying on your actions AFTER or WHILST someone is screaming Red is very off putting.

I thought the colour scheme was standard: black is the safe word, the closer in the spectrum to black the more the need to pull back, the full spectrum then gives a colourful way to inform about internal states. So screaming Red just means "Oh god yes, this is so hot, more please". (But I see the problem. Red traffic lights do mean stop. But the red of red-light districts has a different meaning.)
