im liking the story so far my only gripe is why would a guy with his luck ever need to rob someone.

Bud is a feral human who takes his money and sex and meals however they come. He robs because he can, same as you or I'd pick up a Quarter off the sidewalk. Its not personal itz biznezz. He didn't try and rescue the Laundromat people from the illegals, they didn't fuck with him.
