When I was young I was introduced to entertainment which encouraged female empowerment such as but not limited to Monster High (tv show that combines all kinds of gothy stuff with fashion) and the Alpha and Omega franchise (a bunch of movies with talking animals mainly wolves) and I very much so loved almost all of these kids - teens tv shows and movies encouraging female empowermen. Yeah this may have been subtle warning as to what I would envetually like watching and reading about in fiction. Anyway I personally saw nothing wrong with your story LaughingRaven but hey that's just me, me and my opinion. Kudos.
