A bit of a long wait but well worth it, another Androgynousother classic. Characters, story line, dialogue, everything that we expect from you and that you normally give us in droves, in a charming and very funny story. Five stars, Bravo!
Very nice story, well written and full of dynamics. Thanks for sharing with us. Hope your complications are sorted out quickly.
Another classic, at times reduced me to tears , and sobbing with joy at the ending.
The part about the Barbour jacket .... I have my Grandads he died in 1986 .
One suggestion, it should rather read "But... It's a farm Baby," he said, "cowshit, pigshit, sheepshit, chickenshit, duckshit..."😁
What a lovely story, hope the writers block is gone. Looking forward to reading more of your stories
This story seemed a bit disconnected somehow. It started out very well though. I don't know if it is the result telling one characters life story through another characters perception or the idea that the main characters had little to do with each other during the personality transition. Something just didn't connect for me. Good story but not quite 5 star.
Good story - maybe not in this category though (but I read it all). a few small typos but well structured and a gentle read.
One of the better stories I've read on this site! Well done and thanks for writing it!!
Supposed to be a satirical or humorous story, turned out to be tearjerker. Loved it.
Absolutely captivating. The Story of rescuing Claire & her turnaround is lucidly told. A prelude Story of Katie & Phil can be contemplated. Great Job
As a fairly new widower, I can only say this is the sweetest thing, and as my wife used to say "How true!"
There is only one thing wrong with this story, and that is only that it is in the wrong category. Although I have stopped contributing stories here some time ago, I do still look for superior pieces to inspire me with my other writing. This is just such an example, with enough twists and turns, enough humour, and an abundance warmth, resulting in well-tugged heartstrings! Thank you for an excellent, really outstanding bit of story-telling!
Fine story, bit of brand dropping/ dialect that we 'across the pond" may have to look up.
