Jack as a full on badass, even if he’s also a full on ass, is absolutely incredible. I cannot begin to express the excitement I felt when he pulled out the bloodsuit. Beautifully written; the way you’ve managed to infuse the fight scene with the urgency of stopping the portal while still maintaining Jack’s nonchalant fighting style is absolutely incredible.

I am sure each and everything one of us are eagerly awaiting the next chapter. Can’t wait to see what you have coming next!

There is amazing writing in this chapter. I hope that you, as an author, are enjoying telling the tale of this battle from each perspective and getting to live these moments through your characters. You might consider, should you ever decide to publish, editing this down. Two chapters of the same fight with not much progress toward resolution is a lot.

So are you going to continue this story? Or is it going to be one long never ending fight sequence? I mean this fight has been going on for what, 5 chapters already? Please just finish the stupid fight already and get on with the story.

You inflate a scene too much with strategic cuts in perspective of diffrent characters but rather than coming out like a explosive crescendo it deflates like a sad baloon

Glad you readers are enjoying it. Agreed, the fight has gone on for a long time. It's good feedback, that I should look for ways to tighten up the speed of these scenes.

Amazing!!! However, I do agree that the fight has gone on for a very long time... I hope they get through the barrier before the portal opens.

I tried not to say anything but fuck it. Damn it every time the fight gets some where you change views and we have to go through all that bullshit again. Not how work a fight scene. Not how to make it last. You get all this momentum going and nothing. Lose the need to keep reading. It’s ok to do what you do some but you use it nonstop. It doesn’t keep me hooked. If I was reading paper now I would have burned the damn thing. I have skipped and skimmed through so much of the story only way I could keep reading. When you have it flowing it’s amazing. Also I’m not talking about during regular parts of story when you jumping to what the others are doing for the night and shit. I mean when we have a major sequence going on and you want to slow it down with using other PoVs of people at the site. Maybe one other person but don’t need everyone’s view. It’s fine to cut away from that entire scene and go to another place. Draw it out that way can be good. Anyway. Mostly it’s a great story. Thanks
