Number of Chapters?

Please tell us how many chapters this will be.

I DO appreciate that the frequency has been good (except for one 1 month and one 3 month gaps!)

Season of miracles just got extended

Not only did you give them nice extended holidays but you managed to squeeze in some sweet moments between Marcys parents, I have high hopes that they'll at least be friends again if not a couple once more. I was waiting for a moment when Amanda would slip and it did come quite soon, now it's up to her to deal with it and face the consequences of her action and to see how much Eric cares for her when he finds out. Great drama that shapes the future of the story as well as some very sweet moments all-round, no wonder I keep coming back and asking for more.

5* and until next time!

P.S. I know it's no on purpose but how come you always have that dramatic ending on the last few lines of a new page?

The answer is . . .

. . . when I submitted the article, the page break showed between the previous paragraph and the text.

I do try to make it onto the second page, which requires around 3,500 words, but I end chapters at their natural conclusion.

Chapter 10 has been started, but isn't close to being finished. I haven't decided how I'm going to resolve either Eric and Amanda or Marcy's mother and father yet; I kind of write as I go along.

Well, Marcy agrees with Amanda not telling Eric she cheated. "It's only one time". I am wondering where the author is taking this? How can Marcy reconcile this if Dave finds out? On top of that to learn Marcy's mother was a multiple cheater. Finally drama?

Will this be the catalyst to expose Marcy's past? How will Dave react knowing his fiance' pulled a train, and he is number 55. I doubt based on his character as written he will simply shrug his shoulders especially considering Marcy's attitude regarding infidelity. Eric doesn't know, no harm no foul...is Marcy's modus operandi. Dave doesn't know, no harm...no foul...

There is potential here, a lot of possible paths. It is a bit long winded but still good.

I hope the author 's foreshadowing leads to interesting reading.

I always thought Marcy having pulled a train or two was an odd and somewhat off-putting wrinkle in the story for going well beyond casual promiscuity to a level that's, for lack of a better word, a bit gross. However, I tried not to focus on it and just push through because I am otherwise enjoying the story.

Now she's condoning her best friend cheating on a man not so different than the one she loves. Then she encourages Amanda to lie to him about it, and also keeps the secret from her own fiance. Major red flags. Is this going to switch from Romance to Loving Wives?

Condoning?

Not condoning, just telling her friend not to screw things up, if she really wants to stay with Eric. Not telling Eric isn't condoning.

There is an overall theme in this series.

AnonymousAnonymousover 7 years ago

Actually, it is. Marcy is encouraging her friend to live a lie. As written Eric believed he was in a committed relationship with Amanda. So did Amanda, hence her guilt. Also she tells Marcy she would be settling for Eric, and the possibility of cheating in the future is very problematic.

Marcy by telling her it is was a mistake and to hide it. She is condoning her cheating. Also by not telling her fiance' she is not showing trust or respect for him, or Eric.

This is getting interesting, but how will her number and her condoning infidelity set with her man upon discovery?

The author does good, but we shall see.

Chapter 10 has been submitted

Wasn't submitted until after 10:15 PM, so it'll probably take a couple of days to appear.

Great!

This gets interesting. Amanda has deceived Eric and is sorry (first step to avoid any repetition), Marcy has changed, and in his life only sees Dave. Also, it looks like she's going to get her parents back together ... What a Celestine :)

Everything seems to go well, even with the lack of money, things go quite ahead.

Hoping that chapter 10 will be approved soon!

5 * for you.

I apologize for my English (yet), is not my native language.

Chapter 10 has been approved . . .

. . . and will be published in Thursday. There will be at least one more chapter.

Wonderful Again!

This is another wonderful chapter in Marcy's saga. I just love her character's ability to appreciate the simple things in life and how much being with someone you love is more important than money, possessions, jobs or power!!!

Wish my estranged wife would have had this attitude. She seemed to have it before we had kids, but man did it ever change and "kill" her love for me. We even talked about not letting money issues be a problem in our relationship -- like it was in her parents' marriage -- while we were first dating. Yet, the vast majority of things that I did to "ruin her life" in her view were about money!!! I guess she also disregarded Love taking no account of wrongs. Go figure...

Marcy has proved that she will cheat and lie if presented with the opportunity!!!
