Soon she returned with a bundle wrapped in butcher paper. "I'm curious about your recipe. We seldom get such a specific request."
Nora smiled her best. "My great grandmother's recipe. Marinated in yogurt and then baked into a custard. Also, a recent craving!" Nora patted her pregnant belly. The womb rat kicked. He was getting much more active lately. Then she paused.
"Perhaps you could help me prepare it. Are you free for dinner tonight?"
Lara gulped. Rachel, at least that was what her name tag said, looked us over carefully. I would have been suspicious too. I put my arm around Nora. So did Lara.
Rachel's shoulders relaxed. "What time?"
Lara giggled. What the hell was happening here?
Wilt Chamberlin said he slept with 20,000 women, not Bill Russell. Please make that correction. It’s an insult to the amazing legacy of Mr. Russell.
I'm so glad I came to check on this!
I've been away for a while but finding this updated has made my day, thanks for the excellent characters and storytelling!
First of all, this was excellent as always although I found this one more intriguing since I have been anxiously waiting to see how they all managed to work Suzanne and it was well worth the wait. The way you hopped from situation to situation (Elizabeth Knowles to Suzanne to Chrissy) was a great way to cover so many topics and you did it in such an easy and non cluttered way that it was very easy to follow. The mother of Elizabeth Knowles was not just out of left field but a brilliant thrown in shocker with both her suzie and her family bombshell. Overall I loved it and look forward to the next chapter.
On a side note, I was amazed that I was able to stick with a 48 chapter story over this length of time but you being the brilliant writer you are, you managed to make it easy while being both entertaining and enjoyable. Thank you again for taking all this time to create this incredibly epic tale.

Great story, very complex. This is the first one I have read that makes you have to remember what you have read to be able to understand where you are at in the story. Complex characters that require a lot of build up. sometimes you repeat yourself too much and wander a little but usually bring it back to a purpose. I hope you keep it going there are many possible ways to write many more chapters here. Great read
