Why is the main character a rabbit... You need to at least explicitly tell us they ARE a rabbit, because that's not a reasonable expectation, and it's confusing as hell when "the rabbit" seems like the source of the noise the protagonist was chasing.
And later, the protagonist is startled to see "a fox" despite having just been looking at a fox. I'm sure it was a clear picture in your head, but the reader only has your words to build that same image. Let us know you mean a rabbit person and a fox person.
A couple of issues with determining who the main character is and when the goddess appears, but otherwise, great!
