This sounds like the story of my life, damn it, lol.

So this is where the seed to his insanity (in the main story) was planted. You're a great writer, author, you've rounded him up.

He is a saint but later he gives in to sinner. The reader doesn’t (and shouldn’t) have to agree with a decision of a villain in a dark hot romance, but for the story to be plausible, the author needs to explain motivation, and this is what was done here. And it was sexy, too. I hope you write something to the main story soon!
