Their "shell game" with the satellite would fail, infer red doesn't care about smoke. :P Still enjoy these stories.

Good point.

You might know more about IR technology than me, admittedly. I'd think the heat of the engines might make it difficult to keep track of which passenger was in which vehicle as they drove around in the circle. There's also a cloud of dust being kicked up. It's by no means a perfect plan, but it felt workable. Good call on that.

On the other hand, they're borrowing the spy satellite from the Americans. I'm not sure they like her enough to bother switching on the IR. "Oops, guess we lost her. Ah, well."
