That was unexpected. But it probably will play into Olivia’s story in a decade or so.

I loved the get out of jail twist. It first seems she is getting off easy, but she loses everything to be in hiding. A clear 5

SwordWielderSwordWielder9 months ago

Very good. An interesting twist. I'm a little surprised her father didn't go off on her, and tell her that other than Olivia she's a complete waste of life, and he hopes she lives a very long, miserable and solitary existence until she finally dies and burns in hell. By the time she is finally able to see Olivia (it will be years) I'm sure Olivia will learn the truth, and when she is told her mother is still alive and wants to see her, she will respond along the lines of "my mother was a horrible person and died a long time ago. Whoever this person is they are not part of my life, and are not welcome to have any contact with me or my family." Anne may well commit suicide when she realizes that her daughter hates her for what she did to her father, and she will be forever excluded from her life. She will never see Olivia grow up, or graduate, or marry, or have kids.

Unexpected turnaround, quite interesting. But I still see no remorse for what she did to her husband as well as her daughter, she still seems to be an entitled bitch. Hope she gets her fair share of pain, heartache and loss - loosing contact to the daughter ain't enough - imho.

Curious for part 3.

And as always, reliable as a watch: 5 stars!

P.S.: I am glad that you are on your way of recovery! Stay safe, stay healthy! Enjoy your time with your family and friends! Make every minute count like it's the last one!

Outstanding Read ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Ok, it might not have been as good as part 01. It was great filler with background that will make this journey interesting.

Consuming your tales as always take the reader on a imaginative flow. You have started another one of those for this consumer of you tales. It did earn the Outstanding Read ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ rating I gave it. I am looking forward the remainder of this journey.

Thanks for this one.

Good stuff but not as emotionally moving as the first chapter. 4.2*

Yeah, she still had no remorse, she only wept for herself. I truly hope justice, pain, and anguish are heaped upon her soul.

Tx77TumbleweedTx77Tumbleweed9 months ago

Wow! I guess I have read all of your stuff carefully enough to gain an occasional insight into where your stories are going, since I was 2 for 2 on the scum lawyer and Olivia. Part two was good, leaving the clear impression that the narcissistic wife was easy to corrupt and convince to conspire to murder her husband. Her cooperation with the Feds is still all about covering herself. Even her concern for her child comes too late, though it does finally tie in with a reality where Michael is evil and not her path to the good life. I suspect that a certain ghostly lawman will have a role for Michael and the child trafficker. 5 stars

Another good ST story.

As others have noted, there is a problem with remorse or lack there of. I would have expected her dad to show anger and the mother to be somewhat contrite; didn’t see any of that.

The FEDS granting her immunity for help in translating notes seems ludicrous when they have an army of people who do this daily. All and all it appears the cheating spouse gets a golden parachute. She got to hit the “do over” button.

Interesting, yet concerning that the wife appears to have a way out of her own mess. Not sure I am good with that atm though. Will hope the next part evens things out some.

ST this was getting good having her behind bars but this story just dropped a two full stars (to 3*) with letting her walk, only serving four days behind bars.

\

She willfully put her child's life in danger by leaving her alone some nights to party in Cancun. She also thought Olivia went to sleep too fast and did nothing. And now we discover she was sleazy lawyer EA who can decipher his notes - and she did not know anything? BS

\

Since Julio is a known child trafficker, where is our covert sniper team? When is Justice O Peace going to remedy this?

Interesting move to the plot with the child trafficking. This chapter didn’t have the pathos of the first chapter (which was outstanding), so it wasn’t quite as memorable. We’ll see how chapter three turns out to determine just how important this chapter turns out to be.

Yet another great chapter, ST. Thank you very much!

Having read most (all? IDK) of your stories here and elsewhere, it seems that Anna got off pretty lightly. Going to the original story, Anna coldly ridiculed her husband when he told her he was dying, left him to go to Cancun with her lover for a month (she's been cheating on him for a while), and took the daughter with them without allowing him to say goodbye. Maybe Anna was fooled by her lover but it doesn't absolve her of her own decisions. Other cheating wives met very untimely ends for much less betrayal - some were eaten by sharks if I recall. Anna's punishment, though, was to lose custody of Olivia (that's big, I admit) and assume a new life working against her former lover.

True, you've got at least another chapter so we'll see. A lot can happen.

Waiting for the next chapter but in my opinion she's getting off way too easy. I'm for burning her at the stake and spreading her ashes over the landfill.

hopefully the ex-wife has an epiphany in the next part and feels true remorse. I suspect she'll give her life to protect Olivia in some manner, somehow in honor of her ex.

Damn good… except for dropping all charges. They should have required no further contact with her daughter, although the charge of identity (and faked death) would leave her without a prenatal claim.

Anne is the main cheater and you gave her a redemption chance even before she suffered for it? Her husband didn't even have any.

Who cares about Michael! Anne is the offender in the original story.

You have definitely outdone yourself, SaddleTramp. This couldn't have been better if you tried. This site needs to revamp the scoring system, because giving this 5* is almost an insult. Keep the ticker ticking, my friend.

Great Saddletramp Story. Nor being able to see her daughter will be quite a lot of punishment.

AnonymousAnonymous9 months ago

I think the proper place to put her for witness protection would be a Mexican whorehouse. She should feel right at home.

AnonymousAnonymous9 months ago

Another well written segment to this story. So stupidity continues to reign with the foolish wife.

SorchakSorchak9 months ago

Sorry ST1956, but Anita Coles? I know you wanted to keep it close to her original name, but nobody would be fooled by that. A hand writing expert would easily be able to tell they're same person, due to the first 2 letters of her first name Anne/Anita, and the fact that Cole is the first 4 letters of her last name for both identities. If you HAD to keep her initials as AC, then Allison Callaghan works. Anne also should consider the fact that she didn't let *Olivia* say goodbye to Andrew. That could be a major factor later on.

AnonymousAnonymous9 months ago

As usual a great story with just enough twists and turns to make one WANT to read number three (jaybee186)

AnonymousAnonymous9 months ago

She deserves it all.

AnonymousAnonymous9 months ago

really good so far, looking forward to the next twist

AnonymousAnonymous9 months ago

I was hoping for more than an average Saddletramp story, PT01 was good but PT02 is nothing special (it would have been nice if she wasn't such an superstupidevilturd esp since her lover is based on the same charactertemplate, the downfall of an whole cast of antagonistic characters like this isn't really satisfying as they are as stupid as a bag of bricks).

So is it a bad Saddletramp story, no.

Is it a very good Saddletramp story so far? In my opinion no.

skruff101skruff1019 months ago

Not one iota of remorse for her actions only for herself, narcissism at its most depraved yet she will end up with a new identity and a new life, the price to be paid? Just the loss of her daughter which considering her personality won’t bother her for very long.

AnonymousAnonymous9 months ago

I wish you well in your recovery... as for the story, 5* thanx!

AnonymousAnonymous9 months ago

Good story, so far.

I don't see Anne being sorry about what she did. About what she lost in terms of money, yes. About what she did to Andrew. No. Seeing as there's going to be another chapter, I'll assume that's when Anne/Anita really gets brutally thrown into a hurt locker. Yes, I am looking forward to seeing that bitch burn. But, I want her to survive. I want Anne's next meeting with her daughter to go so bad that Anne/Anita get put on suicide watch for a few weeks. And, no, there's no universe where I want that whore living in anything else but torment.

Oh, yeah, and Micheal too. I hope he dies slow, hard, and painfully. Preferably also screaming for mercy and pissing himself. But, just before he dies, I hope he gets anally raped with the pointy end of an 8 inch in diameter fence post. Hey, let the punishment fit the crime.

As for Olivia, Bill, and her grandmother, I hope they live in happiness and peace. :)

GuyfromShadesGuyfromShades9 months ago

I really enjoyed the story and plot flow. I hope Olivia fairs well in Part 3 Even with her new life, Anne's fortune will not be all roses and ice cream. Thanks for your writing.

That was nice of Mr. ST1956.

He gave the disgusting female a chance at doing the right things.

And a another chance of having a life and going back to the family after helping the Feds.

Anne is lucky Mr. ST1956 has a streak of compassion in him.

Good job Mr. ST1956.

Thanks for this effort.

AnonymousAnonymous9 months ago

Love the story, but how did Olive not discover her father's death whem Anne and Michael were discussing it in the limo?

AnonymousAnonymous9 months ago

That's nice. The husband got true revenge on both rotten people. The irony is now his shit wife will be actively hunting and destroying her lover. And there is no happy ending for her. No more estate, no smug feeling, no daughter, no lover, and no more reliable naive hubby. Add to that he's gonna want very little to do with her in the afterlife after she's spent her long life in attunement. Not bad saddletramp, not bad at all.

RzcanuckRzcanuck9 months ago

At the end it feels like a partial pass was given to her. She loses her daughter but all charges will disappear. I know the loss of a child for the rest of your life will be traumatic but somehow this feels like a let down. Still excellent writing and the story carried me through all the pages. 5 stars.

we can tell by all of the great stories you have posted here that you are indeed an authority on the writing of stories

AnonymousAnonymous9 months ago

Her boyfriend’s behavior is only explainable if HE knew the full extent of Andrew’s wealth, even if dumb shit Anne did not. How stupid was she? Well…it’s LW…being a stupid female is a prerequisite 🤗

.

Otherwise, very entertaining chapter, albeit things sure did move fast! Of course, the authorities had almost a month to investigate and prepare. Looks like Anne is about to legally disappear—will be interesting to learn in next chapter how Olivia is informed.

AnonymousAnonymous9 months ago

AnonymousAnonymous9 months ago

Why did Anne have to go from loving her husband, to cheating, to hating her husband enough to WANT to inflict pain on him like she did at the beginning of this part of the story? It's not the first time I've seen you do that with a cheating spouse in your stories, and it's always utterly ridiculous. It really detracts from the story, and it's not unnecessary. Only a complete sociopath would do something like that. A complete sociopath wouldn't feel guilty LATER like Anne does here. Either Anne is going to be a sociopath, or she's not. Pick one. Flip flopping like you did again detracts from the story.

Rob's estate being worth $100 million with a company that has only 10 employees is also a bridge too far. There needs to be at least ten times as many to be even remotely realistic.

Rob being worth that much, along with Michael being a trafficker is LW trope to the point of being cliche, but I personally can live with that as long as the other mistakes aren't made. There's still some good writing in spite of everything I have critiqued, so do take this as me trying to really rip you one. Just pointing out some things that you should consider avoiding in the future.

AnonymousAnonymous9 months ago

"My husband, my daughter, my future, all that money!" - I'm impressed, it took her four things before she mentioned the money.

~~~
"He's been recognized by the local business community multiple times for his charitable work." - His wife didn't know about this? Since he had no suspicions about her, wouldn't he have shared this with her?
~~~

"No wonder everyone was looking at me like I was a piece of shit." - And they don't even know about her drugging her daughter and the involvement with the child trafficker.

~~~
"the picture of Andrew showed him getting the upstanding citizen award last year. I was clipped out of that one." - So she was there when he got the award, and didn't think that he was more than she realized?
~~~

I agree that her only regrets are over what happened to her, not about what she's done.

Well, well, well… Here was Anne sitting at the top of the world and now she is crawling at the bottom of a gutter. That's Saddletramp1956 justice. I can only guess you are or will be this year 67 years young. Still young, but old enough to have a heart attack. I hope it was a minor one. I also hope you're doing well since any heart attack is a serious thing and carries the danger of death. Take care of yourself. AnonymousAnonymous9 months ago

Wow, this is really spiraling out of control to the point of satire. It was one thing to expand on Andrew's backstory and wealth, but to add the threats to Olivia smacks of "I'm going to pile on as much shit as I can and see if the rubes slobber it up."

lerenardruselerenardruse9 months ago

The bitch cannot be redeemed. This needs to end badly for her and her new boyfriend, regardless of the information she gives to the feds. (That's just my personal opinioon). Still I enjoyed this chapter and look forward to the next whichever path the author takes th story.

RobcolesRobcoles9 months ago

I can’t give this a score. I know it’s only a story. I’m not one of the usual blood thirsty types who’s comments often appear in response to cheating spouse stories. I like to consider myself reasonably intelligent being degree-educated. I also like to consider myself reasonably calm, having been married for 31 years of my life. Her getting to walk away Scott-free apart from the loss of her daughter has created a rage in me that I didn’t think any fiction would be able to. (So that speaks volumes for the authors skill). She needs to feel what loss, sorrow, heartache and pain really can be though. I’d like to see her in such anguish that she’s begging for the release of death. Then be given hope only to have it taken away while being publicly mocked. Rinse and repeat. I didn’t know I had such darkness inside me but your writing has brought it to the surface. I’ve relented, 5 stars for your skill. Minus infinity for this bitch-queen-from-hell though, may she perpetually choke on sulphur for the rest of her miserable life.

I know you said there were three parts, I’d really like to read five parts though. The father. The mother (I use the word sparingly). The daughter as she grows and realises. Additionally, the sleaze as his world caves in and the consequences hit. Bob & Bill as they plan and prepare for the sleazy and ‘mother’ to return from Cancun.

Wavedave45Wavedave459 months ago

lol for anyone not happy that the wifes fortunes are turning around a little probably don't know the author or see the "to be continued" at the bottom. Her new life might have her as a life crash test dummy or animal food taste tester.
