'Looks liked you've marked your territory,' she said, 'on me and on his painting.'
She left him where he was as she dressed and threw everything back into her suitcase. She picked up the money and the memory stick from the dresser and put them in her purse with the gun and the knife. She saw his keys on the floor and picked them up, separated his car key and slipped it in her pocket. She threaded her handcuff key onto the ring next to his, and left the bunch on the bedside table. She spent a few moments looking at the painting lying on the floorboards, the edges curled, her finger-painting now dried and invisible, and then went to the door.
'The maid won't come in now until tomorrow,' she said. 'Maybe once I'm clear I'll call him up and get him to send the boys to get you.'
She closed the door behind her as she left, and hung the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on the handle.

Anonymousabout 7 years agoThere doesn't have to be any more. All there has to be is the "declaration" of her independence, and the promise that, with the memory stick, she has insurance.
Not necessarily erotic, but very well written. You can imply the thought and planning that went into her actions.
There was no need to use the line from "Pretty Woman"
