Spotting Trisha's car was a lucky happenstance. Their conversation and trip back to his lodge were well done. Trisha's transformation was a pleasant surprise. The sex scene was an excellent series of moves making the scene well above average. The ending was well stated, and her need for a coffee table was unexpected. However, Jared's agreement with a deposit was a near-perfect ending

Nice little story, well told as usual. If you don't know a lot about wood working you sure fooled me.

What I know about woodworking comes entirely from the research rabbit-hole I tumbled down while researching wood turning for a ( as yet unwritten ) story. I'm subscribed to several wood turning and restoration channels, as well as a sawmilling one and two lock picking/sport channels, and watch several others when they pop up in my recommendations. Glad it comes across as reasonably authentic :)

This is a lovely, well-written story, with great characters and a wonderful romantic atmosphere, but like too many of the author's other stories, it is much too short.
