Ethan needs to take a break, AWAY from Ashton, who is a manipulating bastard, who set this whole scenario up! Is he really in love? LOL! Sure right! He took innocence and debased its existence! Destroyed, so that he could feel better about himself!
Publicly hurting someone is just cruel in so many ways. He may have freed one persons sexuality but he did it at the expense of humiliating someone else. Love? Really?
No doubt that this was extremely hot, but I still have mixed feelings about it. People in new relationships don't start off by forcing their partner into having a public orgy. Ethan made it clear he was uncomfortable, but Ashton wouldn't back down. I didn't like that part. I also didn't like how Mary found out, yet Ethan couldn't stay mad at him? Oh please. Ethan needs to grow a backbone.
Afton is a manipulator! If he truly loved him why share him with other men, so not cool! TAINTED LOVE! Afton should have let Ethan tell Mary in his own time he was gay. Selfish Afton!
That was too much from Afton. I hate humiliation like that, setting someone up. Afton needs to get caught and beg for forgiveness..... Ethan deserves better.
Talk about being manipulated. I get that Afton is used to getting what he wants, but this is so high-handed, selfish and actually mean that I think he should suffer some. Ethan is gay, and maybe it has taken him a lifetime to realize it, but his coming to terms with what is good for him and acceptable for him and how he has to deal with it, should not have been forced upon him. I may not like Mary, but she is Ethan's life long friend. Ethan should have been able to tell her in his own way. I do not think he would have continued to lie to her, but Afton severed a life-line. I do not believe he is going to like the new sad Ethan. He wants to be everything to Ethan and it is ok to Afton because he has no ties. Ethan does. I think Afton is going to learn a life lesson. Just because you always get what you want, does not mean you can live with the consequences. Ethan's adjustment may create a Ethan that Afton cannot relate to therefore causing a hell of a lot of insecurity on Afton's part. I am just pondering. I like Ethan and Afton together, but Afton is going to have to learn to trust Ethan's feelings and not just dominate his existence. If dominance is built in trust not fear, then I think this relationship will work. If Mary is a true friend, then after the hurt, she may be willing to talk to Ethan. If she is a vindictive wench, then she will work to destroy Ethan's life. That may be good for a minute, but in the end both folks who claim that they care for Ethan, really worked hard to destroy him. I feel sad after this chapter. It can go in any direction and I look forward to your ending, not my made up one. LOL I hope to see Ethan dominate Afton and I hope to see Mary realize that the friend that she knew is the friend that she wants to keep. I do not see Mary and Ethan together, but I never did. Afton has to learn that you have to give to truly get and in being selfish he harmed his lover. Afton's manipulations if continued will cause a hurt that I am sorry will not fix. People have to have time to deal with their emotions and realities. Ethan's love is from a pure place. It may be confused and may be slow to start, but it burns true. I do not think Afton would want that to wavier. Hurting Ethan will cause that flame to waiver. This action hurt Ethan. It may cause a bridge that Afton cannot cross, because now Ethan has to go on this journey with his family and loved ones before he was ready. In dealing with that, Afton maybe supportive, but he caused the rift to be brutal when as confusing as it may have been it would have possibly not have to be so vicious. I like this story. As I said, I am pondering and truly I am a sucker for romance and understanding love. Understanding love is not a fairy-tale, but it is something that I feel can conquer all that ails. So I VOTE FOR ETHAN THE DOM!!!! HA!! {At least on the weekend :) }
This doesn't even go with the first parts of the story. It's like these were totally different people that weren't recognizable at all. Disappointed!!! Not interested in reading the next one.
The orgy group love shit was a complete bull, the whole sharing crap is just a bad taste in my mouth I'm just ambivalent to the piece as a whole now.
I did not care for the direction you took this story. Love does not behave this way.
SERIOUSLY!?!?!? You must be kidding, right? In what state of mind could you write such stuff (was going to write another "S" word, b-u-t! ) Guess we all can understand why Afton has no relationship, other than a few "tricks" for a while and probably in the near and far future! As an author, well how about 1 star and that's for your spelling! Do us all a favor....CEASE AND DESIST!
This is a really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, bad story.
Unexpected offensive content.
One star.
This was definitely a "say what?!" chapter! I think the reactions to this part of the story make sense when this relationship has yet to be defined. Afton is very persuasive and Ethan is a bit of a sheep- is he making the right decisions for himself as a newly out gay man (I can't imagine his aspirations in life are to be a kept man/have sex all the time)? I understand the excitement of exploring this new identity with this hot guy but he's not exploring, he's being pushed. And that's okay in a certain kind of relationship, but is this that kind? It's all pretty vague.
And not going after Mary, letting his guilt disappear- bad behavior and bad karma.
I think without more of a segue way, this chapter was too much of a leap forward.

I love where you took this story and the characters reactions. To all hating on it, it's up to the writer not you, and they can do whatever they like and take the story to whatever level they like, whenever.
I loved the way Ethan completely lost himself in the experience, it showed him loosing all his inhibitions and giving himself over to passion. Truly beautiful.
I liked the slight edge of BDSM you added with Aftons dominance, allowing Ethan to get to the place where he could just loose himself.
So much praise for you as a writer, and I cannot wait to see how you top this truly fantastic chapter!
Love never behaves the way it should. This is a story. Fiction. We are supposed to suspend reality for a bit. This did exactly what a good story does. It made us react good or bad we had a connection a feeling.. So I say cheers!
The story was fine, maybe a little too much sex and not enough character development, but the orgy ruined it for me. Afton should have never pushed ethan into something he didn't want, and that's not a healthy relationship. Very disappointed in these characters.
Polly, glad you 'loved it!', but others are allowed to not love it.
That was rape. Oh he loved it in the end... He didn't want it and said no several times. Love doesn't do that.
Aston 'owes' the guy so Ethan is the pay off? Love doesn't do that.
Afton didn't know Mary would see? I call total bullshit. He set Ethan up. Afton ruined Ethan's life beyond himself. Love doesn't do that.
If this is "love" it is the batshit crazy psychotic if I can't have you no one will dead in a ditch kind of love. No thanks.
I've heard that the signs of a great writer is one where the readers get involved in the story and it makes them feel some type of emotion. Mine is anger and regret. I hated this. It was twisted and dark on so many levels that it doesnt make sense. I can't begin to put it into words. I know it's just a story, and the first three chapters were shaky, but it kinda made sense. This chapter took a sharp left turn into "WTF". Ughh. Really??!! Seriously?!!
NO. NO. NO. THIS IS RAPE THIS IS RAPE THIS IS RAPE
Ethan said before anything took place:
1. "I don't like this."
2. "No, I don't want to do this at all. I can't actually. This is insane."
3. "I can't have group sex!"
This was not about love. It was about jealousy and possession and a need to hurt and corrupt something innocent. There was no way near enough character development to explain people's actions. And yeah, it was rape. This chapter turned my stomach.
he says he loves him then forces him into an orgy and then destroys his life when he outs him to his family via his girlfriend. what bull shit. that isn't love. that's selfish obsession. frankly, he doesn't deserve ethan. his friends are horrible but he is the most culpable. i did not enjoy this chapter at all. how can you enjoy a train wreck?
I agree with the comments posted. Something is mentally wrong with Afton
Liked this so much until afton shared Ethan with the other men wish I’d never read this crap
