i have a lobe and hate relationship with this story

i wonder why no one else left a comment

i like how realistic it is when slavery was a reality of this world although we now have modified forms of slavery like human trafficking or labour / child exploitation

it was quite common that the upper and ruling class women were subject to humiliation once their kingdoms were evaded even during both the world wars countless women and children were forced into prostitution

this story is still quite on a milder tone despite the atrocities by geoffery over belle

geoffery no doubt is a very mean and sadistic persona with some empathy towards belle

belle on the other hand is no saint she is quite arrogant ,snobbish and scheming woman

but still i dont see why is she to suffer for her husbands crimes and atrocities in which she has no role being a woman

i find geoffery quite hippocrit as at one place he is able to see the plight of people (although he slis still shrewed and his concern for common people is quite fake mockery ) and he is quite good at providing aftercare and a shoulder to weep upon he could have let belle be his queen after the years passed instead of keeping her as a concubine she has learnt her lesson and suffered enough why can she now not live a dignified life as a new queen rather than being a queens slut

the best and worst thing was to have a conversation at tea with him just after her humiliation,to pleasure him and to accept his kindness when he held her whenever she suffered due to his own cruelties towards her

to accept her utterly humiliating role has his fucktoy for the rest of his life despite hating him so deeply

even when she thinks that making him come is her win she foolishly not realises that he lets her win everytime so she could degrades herself even more everytime in her efforts to win or seduce him by pleasing him even more

the chapter was quite teasing ,laced dark sadistic guilty pleasure but very rushed i wish it was a little longer and belle to be more reluctant instead of giving up so easily

i wish she could fightback and geoffery has to make some ammends and realise that he was too harsh with her yes she is stuck up and bratty but not bad at heart i guess
