Tremendous story and world building with a sense of danger but also heartwarming affection at every turn. Safe to say this is a prime fantasy for a lot of young men and I do hope you will continue to bring it to life!

Seems interesting

This looks interesting regarding this setting.

I have one criticism though: I noticed at no point in this that we ever got a clear description of Denise, such as say waht her hair is like.

Is there a reason for that?
